Freedom to Vote

Category: 2020 Elementary School (Grades 1-5)
Student: Jacinda Motley

Teacher: Stephanie Isselmann

I think that the freedom to vote is so important and special about America. America is a place where you can be whatever you want to be. You have to work hard and be persistent. We need someone to lead us and make big decisions. So we should get to pick who makes those decisions for us and that is what we vote on.
One reason that it is important is because it is special to America. A lot of countries don’t have that opportunity, which is why it is so important. The second reason is, we should be able to have the opportunity to pick who is in charge of us since they make the big decisions. It is important, and with all that is going on we should be able to choose who can get us out of this. My final reason is that it is a right. Every American that is over 18 has the right to vote. Meaning that by law we all get to vote. If you don't vote, that is on you! In conclusion the freedom to vote is so important. It shows how America has grown. We should get to pick, and I hope you vote.
