Religious freedom is very important and contributes to the greatness of America in many ways. One reason I believe it is so important is that the more open we are to other beliefs, the kinder and more understanding we get. We support each others ideas and traditions and develop a greater love for everyone and everything. I can also relate to religious freedom because I am lucky enough to have family that is Christian, jewish, and most importantly, open to all religions. Everyone in my family gets along and celebrates different holidays together. In my opinion, this makes us more knowledgeable about different cultures. I believe that religious freedom has brought our country together from the days that the colonists migrated from England. Many wanted to participate in a different religion than what their current ruler dictated so they immigrated here. In my life time, I hope to see other countries evolve to have the same religious freedom we are so fortunate to have here in the United States of America.
